A Day to Celebrate!

Today's post will be short. First card is made off of Mojo Monday sketch 237:

Very cute and easy sketch to use and here is how my card turned out:
No fancy techniques just a little ink and white embossing powder. It's kind of a fun card for the 4th.

I spritz the embossed background with Perfect Pearls.

Next up is a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches: http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2012/04/freshly-made-sketches-31-sketch-by-rita.html

This sketch was also easy to use. If you go to the link you can see what the Clean Team's awesome cards they designed with this sketch.
This is what I came up with:
For some reason it looks better in person. It's a pretty grey day today. I was going to put the star on straight then decided to tilt it a bit to add interest. The glitter heart is made from foam and the sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder.

After I took the picture of my card I decided it looked a bit plain so I added the three clear gemstones at the top left corner. the star border is more of Michael's Craft tape.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend since this is my last post till next week.
