Day 5 Canyonlands National Park

Day 5 We were excited to get out and do some sightseeing after four days of driving. We enjoyed Canyonlands and the weather was beautiful, 75 and sunny.
Here are a few of the many photos we took. Enjoy:










 

 
 This is Dead Horse State Park where we are staying. It is pretty awesome too.

 This is at sunset and you can see the Colorado River.
 This is entirely by accident but it looks like I am holding up the sky.
 The sun is almost gone and time to head back to camp and have dinner.
 This is back at camp and the fading sunset was still pretty so I snapped one last photo before ending our day.

    Teresa - your photos are amazing...I feel like I am right there enjoying that breathtaking (one word or two ??) scenery! Cool pic of you 'holding up the sky'. You need to submit this one to a photo contest!

    Thanks for sharing your travels with us. You two kids look like two teenagers in love on a marvelous journey!

    We are in the middle of our first "bit" of snow here in Manitoba. Bit translates to a HUGE Colorado low. Almost 14" in the past 24 hours and still snowing.
